Spring

March daffodils in the graveyard.

Our register of electors, the electoral roll, is prepared in March, once every 5 years. The last occasion was in 2025.
For clarification, ask a member of the clergy or our Electoral Roll Officer.

Congregation members must be registered on the electoral roll in order to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, Extraordinary General Meetings or at other occasions as requested. Parishioners who want to be registered should complete a new application form. Names are not carried forward from an existing roll to a new one.
Applicants must be members of the Church of England, or a Church in communion with the Church of England; must be 16 years of age or more; must be baptised.

Annual Parish Church Meeting
After Easter is the time for our Annual Parish Church Meeting, effectively our A.G.M. This is an opportunity for everyone to:
• hear about how things are in the parish,
• hear about plans for the future,
• study the annual financial report,
• elect members to the new P.C.C. for a three-year term,
• to elect Churchwardens for the coming year.
The APCM is an important exercise in democracy at St Peter’s. It is about us as a parish, not them.

Autumn

Many come to see the designs, support our Coffee Shop and to commend the creators of such imaginative and entertaining figures. Click here to see more.

Dogs, rabbits guinea pigs and others visit the church for an annual pet service. Many parish pets bring their owners to celebrate just how important animals are in peoples’ lives. Click here to see more.

Peace Light Church Parade. Scouts pass the Peace Light as a symbol of peace, hope and unity for everyone.
The Peace Light is a continuously burning flame, originating from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, that Scouts use to light their lanterns and spread the flame to other Scouts.
