Consecration 275th Anniversary Service

On Sunday 17th July we celebrated the actual 275th Anniversary of the Consecration of the present church building, back in 1747.

We were specially honoured to be joined by the Queen’s Representatives:
Mr Mark Blundell, Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside
Ms Lesley Martin-Wright, High Sheriff of Merseyside

As well as our regular congregation, we welcomed the flags of the Uniformed Organisations and the ATC at Woodvale.

Bishop of Warrington, Beverley Mason, was the guest preacher, and the Archdeacon, Pete Spiers was also with us.
